In OmniMix make sure the Extended Username Syntax ('Server' > 'News' > 'Ext.S.') and Body Header capability ('Header' > 'Body Header' > 'Active') are activated.

Now in Outlook Express open the 'Internet Accounts' window by selecting the menu 'Tools' > 'Accounts'.
Select the 'News' tab.
Add a new account by clicking on 'Add' > 'News ...'.
Type 'Anon' in the 'Display name' field and click 'Next'.
Type 'anon@anon.invalid' for your 'E-mail address' and click 'Next'.
In the 'News (NNTP) server' field type 'localhost', check 'My news server requires me to log on' and click 'Next'.
Enter 'omnimix;ht=news.mixmin.net;pt=119;tl=e;to=n' for 'Account name', 'omnimix' for 'Password', check 'Remember password' and click 'Next'.
Click 'Finish' to complete your Newsgroup account creation.
Now in the Account list on the left select and expand 'localhost' and click at 'Properties'. At the 'General' tab rename the account to 'news.mixmin.net.omnimix' (or whatever you like to remember its purpose), enter '119' for 'Port', activate 'Always request authentication when connecting to this server'.
Click 'Ok' to exit the 'Account Settings' window.
In the left panel in OE's main window the account named 'news.mixmin.net.omnimix' should appear now.
To subscribe to newsgroups right click on that account name and select 'Newsgroups ...'
or
select it with the left mouse button and click the 'Newsgroups ...' link on the right.
As usual subscribe to the groups you're interested in (including 'alt.test.group' for your experiments) and click 'Ok' to close the window.
When posting your first test message, select the 'alt.test.group' group, click the 'New Write' button and make sure the 'To' field points to the test group and the 'From' value represents your 'Anon' name.
As long as within OmniMix 'Anon' > 'Always use Mixmaster for News' is activated you don't have to do anything special before pushing the 'Send' button when posting to a newsgroup. All messages use the parameters set in OmniMix.

For varying those parameters individually you have to send the control data along with the message. As OE doesn't allow to add control headers like 'O-Anon-Send: Yes' at their regular location, you have to go the 'Body Header' way adding them on top of your message body and demarcating that block from your real message by a blank line:

####_Extended_Header_Section_####
O-Anon-From: None
O-Anon-Send: Yes
O-Remailer-Chain: 0 0 0 paranoia
O-Remailer-Copies: 6
O-Newsgate-Active: Yes
O-Newsgate-Address: mail2news@dizum.com, mail2news@m2n.mixmin.net

Make sure you've selected text-only mode, as with multi-part messages including HTML mail as well as attachments the 'Body Header' feature won't work.
